At E3 2016, Nintendo officially unveiled The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (we had seen earlier builds of the game before it had a name) with a breath-taking trailer that took us on a tour of the Great Plateau. YouTuber Sauraen was greatly inspired by this beautiful introduction to the game world and sees it as a chance to be a pivotal moment for the series, much like the release of Ocarina of Time. With that in mind, they've recreated the E3 2016 trailer using Ocarina of Time's game engine. Hit the jump to check it out!

Back in 2002, Nintendo released Super Mario Sunshine, which is considered to be one of Mario's greatest platformers. Mario and his pal FLUDD run, jump, and pound across Isle Delfino to try and save Peach from the mysterious Shadow Mario. While Super Mario Sunshine was a great single player game, some fans have decided to give the game a co-op multiplayer mod that lets you play with two characters at the same time. CyberTanuki, one of the modders helping with the multiplayer mode, explained in more detail about the goals for the mod.

The PlayStation 4 Pro is going to bring 4K gaming to the living room in just a couple of weeks, and Sony is showing off its newest version of the PS4 in a brand new '80s-inspired trailer. The video is very reminiscent of older video game commercials when companies would try to throw out a bunch of numbers to make their systems sound better. Crash Bandicoot had a small chance to shine in the latest Skylanders game, but that wasn't the end of his involvement in the series. In an episode of the Netflix series Skylanders Academy, Crash has his own backstory for being in Skylands, and he even talks. You can see some clips of his role after the jump!

The original Paper Mario was first released on Nintendo 64 over 16 years ago, but speedrunners and hackers are still discovering new things about the classic game. YouTuber Stryder7x (who previously discovered a game-breaking glitch that involves hitting a block for 416 years) has just uploaded a new video that reveals Paper Mario text that has remained hidden for all these years. Halloween is just around the corner, and Mojang is celebrating with a special three-in-one spooky bundle for Minecraft on consoles. The Spooky Bundle contains the Halloween Mash-up (featuring a pre-built spooky world for you to explore), the Halloween Battle Map, and the Campfire Tales Skin Pack. Back in May, The Pokémon Company released a touching video titled "Train On" which told the story of a young Japanese boy who moves to Hawaii and bonds with his new classmates through a mutual love for Pokémon. This turned out to be the start of a special series of videos, and the second one released last month, showing two friends making up after fighting over a Pokémon battle. The Pokémon Company recently kicked off a new YouTube video series called Pokémon Generations, telling stories from across the six regions and generations of the popular video game franchise. The last two episodes focused on the Hoenn region, following the attempts by Team Magma and Team Aqua to control Kyogre and Groudon. The Pokémon Company released two more episodes today, treating us to an epic outer space battle between Legendary Pokémon and a night of horror at the Old Chateau. Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, an animated film that runs parallel to the early events of Final Fantasy XV, released last month to a relatively positive reaction from fans, extolling the film as an absolute visual spectacle. For an animated film, that honor is due to the hard work of its animators. One group that worked on the film, Digic Pictures, is actually quite renowned for their skills in trailer production for games, having previously worked on the Assassin's Creed series. Now, Digic Pictures has returned to the world of Final Fantasy XV with a new trailer titled "Omen."

Unreal Engine 4 is one of the most popular graphics engines in the industry, and it's free for developers to download. Thanks to this wide availability, many fans have been recreating scenes and areas from popular classic games. YouTuber CryZENx has been particularly active with Unreal 4, recreating lots of iconic locations from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time including Zora's Domain, Gerudo Valley, and the Temple of Time.CryZENx is back again with another Unreal 4 creation, and this time it's Hyrule Field. SEGA's iconic Sonic the Hedgehog franchise recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, and during the festivities SEGA announced Sonic Mania for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Kinda Funny Games recently got the chance to go hands-on with the retro-style Sonic game alongside producer Lola Shiraishi. They've uploaded nearly half an hour of footage, including a look at the newly-unveiled Mirage Saloon Zone and gameplay featuring Tails and Knuckles. Polygon has also uploaded a playlist of new Sonic Mania footage without commentary, and you can watch it all by clicking below!

Earlier this month, Square Enix revealed that Moogles will serve a special purpose within the world of Final Fantasy XV. That special purpose was a mystery at the time, only to be revealed if their Final Fantasy twitter page received enough followers. Fortunately, the twitter page finally hit the required number of followers, so we have received a fancy new trailer detailing the Moogle doll's purpose. As it turns out, Moogles are actually used as lures in battle.

Square Enix has announced that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix is coming to PlayStation 4 in March 2017. This collection will house two smaller bundles to include six Kingdom Hearts titles altogether, and it launches on March 9th in Japan, March 28th in North America, and finally in Europe on March 31st. The six games included in the PlayStation 4 collection are Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Re:Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days (Remastered Cinematics), Kingdom Hears II Final Mix, Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and Re:Coded. A trailer for the collection was also released, which you can view after the jump!

Monster Hunter X was a smash hit in Japan last year, and Capcom recently brought it to the West as Monster Hunter Generations. Capcom is wasting no time capitalizing on the success of the 3DS exclusive, as they've just unveiled a follow-up. Monster Hunter XX (read as "Double Cross") will launch in Japan on March 18, 2017.
